Today we kept up tradition and took Caraline to the Barnum and Bailey Circus. I must say that we all enjoyed it better than last year. We went an hour early in order to get the all access pass down on the floor where we could see the animals close up and take pictures with the clowns! Caraline never took her eyes of the circus...well except to eat cotton candy and drink lemonade!
She loved the horses and elephants. While we were watching the elephant paint she said "elephants color!" I think it blew her mind to see an animal doing what she loves best! She was totally amazed by all that was going on. 
She still did not like the clowns but she did wear her clown nose and hat through most of the circus, which we couldn't get her to do at all last year.

We had a blast and look forward to going next year when they come to town! It will be different with a 6 month old and a three year old.....YIKES!
