Birthday Bliss

Today was Caraline's 2nd birthday! I am still in disbelief that my little girl is turning two. I just can't get over how fast time really flies by. She has been such a blessing to Jason and I, and we thank God for the miracle he has placed in our lives.

Her festivities began on Friday, when her school celebrated her birthday. I baked cupcakes and sent them in for her class. Her teacher informed me that she was quite the birthday "diva" and soaked up all the attention. They also said that she preferred goldfish crackers over her cupcake, that really made me feel good! Caraline got a super cute outfit from her teacher, Mrs. Pam.
Today we had a "family" party to celebrate her birthday. We were so blessed that so many family members could make it! From my family we had my mom and dad (Gram and Gramp), Nanny, Aunt Debbie, Uncle Larry, and cousin Emily. From Jason's family we had Jason's parents (Memaw and Pepaw), Uncle Dan, and Great Mawmaw Miles. Since Caraline's favorite food is Pizza (at the moment) we ordered Papa Murphy's Pizza and I made a huge salad for dinner. Caraline got a ton of toys and outfits and is set for spring and summer! Fun was had by all and we were sad to see everyone go. The day couldn't have been more perfect for Caraline! I still don't think she even knew what was going on, but she was LOVING it!Thanks to everyone who called, sent cards/gifts, emailed, texted, or visited! It really made her 2nd birthday one that was very special for all of us!
