I hope that everyone enjoyed their Valentine's Day! I know it is a "Hallmark" holiday, but it is one that I enjoy. I think any day that inspires us to share love with others is a wonderful idea!

I was surprised this morning when I woke up and found a boquet of pink caranations (my favorite flower) in the bathroom waiting for me!
Once we both got home from work we went to Sakura as a family for Japanese cusine and sushi. We enjoyed a yummy dinner and then headed to Lowes for our Valentines gift to each other.
This was what we decided we would get each other for Valentines day! I know it looks boring, but soon it will be a new backspash in my kitchen. Jason and I have been wanting to do this for a while and are excited to get it done. Jason has been researching how to do this and feels confident that he can take this on himself. I have no doubts! He is amazing at stuff like this. I will post before/after pictures once the project is complete-which should be this coming weekend.
