Fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity

A couple of weeks ago I had signed Caraline up to participate in a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity. I was worried we weren't going to be able to make it since she had gotten sick with an ear infection, but she seemed to be feeling much better so we went.

We made a donation to Habitat for Humanity in return for Caraline to decorate a tile that will be used in building the walkway to the newly remodeled Stones River Mall. She was given a 6x6 ceramic tile to decorate with pottery paint. The tile will be taken to a local pottery shop where it will be fired and sealed. It will then be used in the walkway of the mall.
Caraline had a blast playing in the paints. She wasn't really interested in making a picture so mommy did most of the work. I did use her fingers to create the butterfly so that it was some what authentic. I can't wait to see the walkway once it is complete. We will take a picture of the finished product for everyone to see. For now I have pictures of us in the "creative" process.
