A Cure for the Cough...finally!

Those of you who have been around Caraline a lot in her little life know that she has ALWAYS had a cough that never seems to go away no matter what we try. Well the cough got much worse once the weather got hot here! I took her in to a new doctor and got some much dreaded but needed news. Caraline has asthma and probably has had it since she was 9 months old. We now have our very own breathing machine (Nebulizer) and are using that for treatment. We are so proud of how great she does with her treatments! She does it all by herself now She seems to be responding VERY WELL and her cough has gotten so much better in just the one week that we have been taking the treatments. We are hoping that she will grow out of this like her daddy did and that this will not be life long asthma. Here are a couple of pictures of Caraline and her new best friend, the "better bear"! The panda bear in the background is the actual nebulizer machine. Pretty cool what they can do for kids these days!
