I have been trying to get our vacation pictures up on the blog for a week now and have had no luck. Things around here are crazy busy since we have been back! My best friend has had a baby, at school we are trying to get ready for state testing, and here at home my list of things to get done never seems to get smaller...well I guess that is life!
On spring break we headed out to Fort Hood, Texas to visit with Brian and Jennifer (Jason's oldest brother and his wife).We drove the 13 hour drive and Jason's mom, dad, and youngest brother flew and met up with us there. We were able to see Brian and Jennifer's beautiful home and spend some quality time with them before they deploy to Iraq.
We spent Friday and Saturday night at Horse Show Bay Resort in Marble Falls Texas. It was a beautiful resort but the weather was not as beautiful! In fact it was rainy and cool the entire time we were there. We must have brought the yucky Tennessee weather with us! We made the best of it but we were definitely looking forward to some fun in the sun. We did spent some time in the hot tub and heated pool. We also played a round of putt-putt on their beautiful 18 hole par 72 course and most importantly...ate at some fabulous restaurants!
