This toy is here to stay!!!

I know most of you have seen our previous blog of Caraline coloring. (If not, it is a must see!) I must say she has mastered the art of coloring. Her teacher at school tells me that she is the only one in her class that can really color :) Apparently, all the rave over her coloring has gotten to her head and she has taken her artistic abilities to a whole new level. She is now preferring to color on furniture, walls, herself,....basically anything that she can reach when our heads are turned. After purchasing a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and scrubbing down all of the surfaces that she has colored on, I had decided to take all of her coloring utensils away. That was until I discovered what could possibly be the most ingenious invention to ever hit Wal-Mart.

Crayola scientists have created a line of products called Color Wonder . Color Wonder is a mess- free creative system of inks and paints. Color Wonder inks and paints are clear, and colors appear only on the special Color Wonder paper. The inks and paints do not appear on skin, walls or carpet....and yes I tried them out myself :)
I am telling you that this is one of the coolest things I have ever seen and I highly recommend them to parents. They are going to spare me hours of scrubbing and Caraline several spankings. The shocking part is that Caraline actually likes them. She sits at her little desk and colors like there is no tomorrow. She seems so puzzled when she leans over to scribble on her closet door and nothing happens. I smile and for the first time feel no stress or anxiety as I walk out of her room and leave her to color and create for as long as she likes.
